牵 - 我的2011年度的字述一年

牵是我2011年度的字述一年。论述将从新加坡国内情况与国际社会与新加坡的互动两方面切入。

外来人(人才和劳工)的这两三年的大量涌入或多或少造成新加坡社会的些许不稳定，公宅价格的升高，公开交通的拥挤等等，牵动了立志为第1世界选民用投票方式在GE和PE里清楚表达了明确的讯息，也透露出政治职务者赏罚分明的必要性，连带的牵扯出历史新低的胜选投票率，好几位政治职务者也被牵连到的“阶段性任务结束”的下台，至少理论上LHL在施政上就可无所牵制了。

无论新加坡内阁如何努力在未来都不可能高速经济成长的情况之下，还用标榜2011年GDP历史新高的成长愚民以争取选票的日子一去不复返，选民们已跳脱出“PAP是SG和没有PAP就没有SG”思维的牵绊。

TTKY在PE竞选期间说一旦当选将协助PAP内阁经济成长是牵强的，如果这是其中或唯一的目的，TTKY大可不必在政联公司辞职就能达到。在国际社会代表新加坡争取话语权和利益的是总理LHL及其内阁，关TTKY屁事。

联合早报在2011年以字述一年以取代以前发布的10大本地事件和10大国际事件是蛮策略性的做法，用意在于避开10大本地事件的相当一部份(也许可占一半)都是对PAP不利的，深怕牵一发而动全身的考量下,牵及到PAP执政的未来施政及PAP在新加坡历史的评价，开始了所谓的字述一年(联合早报的首回)。

不象我的其他网络空间的第二期是同样空间的从新出发，360wowSpace 没这个问题，时事篇章照样写。唯一不同的是2012年的 Bloggers 360 (First 120, Middle 120, Final 120) 的链接将会大幅修正，原因是现时的多数链接是已经收山的 Windows Live Space.

First Period of Blogging 的最后一个 Blog Entry 如无意外的话 (人生无时无刻都有意料之外) 应该就是此篇吧。

认真说起来，新加坡真的地小人稠，然人文故意的不格外提倡，影响国际是几乎不可能，反之国际影响新加坡的经政社倒是难以避免，联合早报第一次有所谓的字述一年。白马非马也不甘落后，过些时候我也会有我的字述一年(已有了但还没写)，在此可透漏的是不一样的字。

联合早报的二零一一年度汉字投选字述一年，包含了：

白马非马的扯
就这11个字的选择，要以新加坡和国际一并考量(自个决定的比重-新加坡65：国际35)，篇章的论述，加上我个人额外的解读，白马非马的扯是除了我自个的以外最棒的字述一年。我的评论有在白马非马的篇章里头，在此要多加几句的是扯在国际社会也挺吃香-1。欧元区国家债务及其政治领导的扯；2。日本核漏事故拖延以致闹得不可收拾的扯；3。泰国水灾新政府及其对手的不为民解危的扯等等。

今天(2011.12.29)是联合早报的二零一一年度汉字投选的最后一天，希望早报完全公布每个字的票选数，如果敏感的话，至少是每个字占总投选的百分比。

莫忘初衷(良性的)之知难行更难

常识是知易行难，不过莫忘初衷(良性的)的其实是知难行更难，更糟的是已经忘了，不仅是个人的你我他，这也是指组织或群体而言。

组织：举例一下现时处于水深火热的 SMRT。众所周知 SMRT 是靠地铁服务起家的。然后陆续加入 TIBS (八达巴士 Trans-Island Bus) 及扩展零售的周边生意。原以为 SMRT 之所以不改名 (因还有 Mass Rapid Transit 的意味) 也就是忠于初衷，结果12月连续几次的地跌瘫痪使到广大民众有了2011年的SMRT质变了/坏了其企业的 DNA.

你我他 - 2011年4月的时候联合早报有关TCJ (陈川仁 Tan Chuan Jin) 的特别报道说他要记者一年后告诉他是否已变了(本人解读是是否忘了从政的初衷)纯属难能可贵。希望到时那位记者或者旁观者的我们记得给 TCJ 回馈哦。

这就是所谓的知难行更难。

2011年12月的 SMRT & MSM

先说明这不是一篇紧跟着SMRT的列车瘫痪事件发展的牢骚或意见或甚至建议。这其实是拖了至少1个星期而决定了不得不写的一篇不得已的发现。

在14日地铁事件发生的隔天，也就是15日下午观看了免付费华文频道（8频道或U频道）的相关报道，记者访问的其中1个乘客对着镜头说对SMRT的服务和安全依旧有信心。当然个人有个人不同的解读或看法其实是相当正常的。问题是这接受访问的据本人所知这男士其实是SMRT集团的在任职员，

所以关键是此人谎饰乘客以减低损害或者是记者没做好身份确定？！？还是其他内幕？又或者给予其他方便？

写在国会辩论政府施政方针的第３天之前

少过两小时就是国会辩论政府施政方针的第3天了，朝野双方是否遵循总统 TTKY 的建言做君子之争的议政还有待观察。

这是PAP内阁不惜在民选总统选举过后的国会，组阁之后的５个月(接近半年)，而代价不可谓不大，即“大选氛围的民选总统选举”，充分暴露了PAP在选民心目中的剩余价值，但也给了充裕时间去充分检讨大选得票率低下的真正原因。大概在１个月前，几乎各个部会陆续大动作的出炉了接近民粹(Populist)的大方向，不惜改弦易撤纠正一些惹人怨的政策，还有附上部会阐述总统开幕词的附录 Addenda，　难免有一点点短线操作的味道，怎么说呢？政治职务薪金检讨委员会的建议大概在年底公布，距离现在应该是在１个半月的时间。

无论如何，至少内阁及部会起码回应了选民的“大部分诉求”，至于真正落实与否就有待时间去证明了。

写在新国会 (第12届) 辩论施政方针之前

今天 (2011.10.17) 下午想必会有新民意代表发表“处女”演说。虽然演说重在实质内容，但也得有一定的包装，得体且不令人反感的举止也包括在内，曾经有一位议员在演说的同时双手时不时整理裤头，结果到头来也不知道他说些什么，五到十分钟的演说就这么浪费掉了。

总统宣读的施政方针 (其实是内阁撰写的）寄望朝野议员就事论事，不要为反对而反对，避免沦为口水战。本人也希望如此，但并不乐观，尤其执政党议员往往在在野议员发言之后的辩驳用意在扭曲或偏离原意而逃避回答，这可从这几年报章的报道隐隐约约的知晓，在野议员在前两届国会倒是“规规矩矩”的。

还有寄望已是或立志成为第1世界选民 First World Electorate 的国人(中立或有政党倾向)也应该抽空并负个人责任的出席国会议程，而不止是单从报章或电视的节制报导知道议程，亲身经历/体会的这所谓的第一手资料是没有经过剪辑的，尤其是那一方的言论“故意”导致口水战的将无所遁形，更能客观的判断，踏出国会后与友人或亲友传递观感的同时更能体认做为新加坡籍第1世界选民的骄傲。容后谈谈何谓1世界选民。

写在新国会会期前和在民选总统选举之后 - Part 2

在此希望PAP和非PAP国会议员所组成的第12届国会任重而道远，维持/强化政党利益的同时也得兼顾国家的中期和长期利益。毕竟占据93%或81位民选议员的PAP是压倒性的，是故内阁是完全执政完全负责，对选民/国民(不管支持那一方)的观点来说“ (Fix the Opposition)对付在野党”的政治手段是低劣且政治失分是必然的。

那到底是何种政风政策政德政治景观是新加坡需要的呢？历史观是其中一个的考虑点 - 政党要往后新加坡的历史是如何翔实地记录下你们的一言一行一举一动影响新加坡这城市国家的生存，并且取得历史的正面评价。实质上国会内与国会外(尤其是内阁级的发言)都会得到历史的检验，

请务必平衡好政党利益，选民利益和国家利益，尤其是攸关国家生存的关键时刻是何者为大？何者为重？拜托了。

写在新国会会期前和在民选总统选举之后 - Part 1

今日(2011.09.09) 上传此篇本意是遥遥呼应新国会会期的 2011.10.10。不管是新内阁宣誓就职或是大选投票日算起，LHL及其内阁都已超过100天了。

就谈谈以下几个要点：
1。国庆群众大会：相对于往年，LHL今年的演讲算是点到即止，非常少触到政府对于不确定的未来的该有的予人信心的大方向和治理理念。
2。政策的变动：在公共住宅和外来人方面做了微调，期许政策还做进一步的更动。
3。人民协会和草根组织 (PA and Grassroots Organization)：模糊了政府的定义。国会 (包括在野党议员)是政府的一部分。以往政治化的作风已经人人皆知，接下来其实无助于协助执政党增加票源，并且选民/国民视之为分裂/分化国家的其中之一的恶性肿瘤。
4。民选总统选举：事实已证明了在100天内还没召开新国会影响了PAP属意的TTKY的胜选得票率，难怪国民对于政府越来越保持怀疑的态度，讲白一点的话就是对于政府对一些政策政风政德能否往心目中的改动没什么信心，也就无法取得国民的信任。

可预知未来的政局(包括国会内的辩论) 将会稍比以前来的更多元了，也想看看 (带着一点幸灾乐祸的心理) PAP 执政党和政府如何不顺应新潮流的自找麻烦，加上一丁点儿的惯性自我感觉良好的施政。

Singapore Presidential Election 2011 竞选期 Part 2 - 李总理间接的放话

李总理 LHL 日前在媒体表示新加坡国小民寡，缺乏有可能所谓政治僵局的动荡的适应力，乍听之下挺合理的。不过仔细探讨不过是要稍为挽回民选总统的政府话语权。也道尽了连续执政了40多年的 PAP政府对选民毫不放心。

在国会议席占据93%的执政党PAP的来届新国会，本人实在无法想象7%的在野势力能导致政治僵局，最多迟缓一些法案或修正案的通过。87位全权投票国会议员是选民选出来的代表，可说是全国最重要的人物，LHL 在 PAP 压倒性的国会势力如果没什么作为而不选择实质上成为全民总理的话，在下一次的 GE 选民就会失去更多的支持。

LHL 的放话也泄露了 EP 其实除了宪法规定的礼仪职责和特定范围的监护权，实际上这由选民一人一票直接选上的有其深远的影响力，能多多少少左右 (EP 虽没有执行权) 内阁的决策，因为 EP 有权获取并知道内阁的会议结果，而且还可召唤 PM 说上一些忠言逆耳的话。LHL 多少担心 TTKY 以外的参选人当选总统，即使如此，LHL 还说什么这会导致政治僵局，难道 LHL 间接上承认了 EP 是非正式的第2权利基础 2nd Base of Power? 不会吧, 完全执政完全负责的 LHL 要忽悠选民在这方面的认识？？！也太低估选民判断目前国内外形势的智力和知力。谁会相信非PAP属意的EP 加上 7% 的在野国会势力会造成政治僵局？除非是PAP政府自己砸的锅。

Singapore Presidential Election 2011 竞选期 Part 1 - 四陈的角逐

先说明这不是一篇选边站支持某一参选人的文章。思虑再三，还是写一些感想好了 (本意是不想写的)，特别是这已经是竞选期的大半了。四陈的竞选策略，定位和着力点，出席了一些座谈会，还有一些团体声言支持某一特定参选人的动作是第一世界选民早就心里有数。主流媒体和网络空间有些也选边站，有些假装中立，这都无可厚非。观点综合下来，都已经七七八八了，唯一的群众大会也在明天就开始了，那我还有什么好写呢？！？

有的，就比如一些提醒吧：
1。 TJS：一位有牛津政哲经教育背景的参选人是时候在某些适合的场合套一些名人或哲学性的语录以增强高教育选民对你的好感与观感。控制一些没必要而且令人懊恼的手势。
2。 TCB：从资料得知也许是唯一将不会有群众大会的。不过他必须要通过各个管道解释为何不召开群众大会的理由，否则单单不召开选民就可置疑参选的实际动机。
3。 TTKY：这个如果当选就大概会是如同纳丹总统的参选人必须表态如何要让选民阶段性的被告知 (以解除疑惑) 国家储备和公积金存款的虚实，要不然 GE2011 的 PAP票也会跑票。
4。TKL：与其他参选人相比，他最没有产品差异化 Product Differentiation 的一位, 致命伤也就在此。要纠正也要由此开始，不过大概没时间了。

LHL 在竞选前几天和今天通过 MSM 强调了政治不该分化的重要性的“噪音”不会就此停止，极有可能在竞选期间的最后一天或冷静日或投票日还会说上一说。在此敦促四陈加油冲刺，这也许是新加坡政治历史上最后一次的民选总统选举了，当选的话也是最后一届 (没得连任) 的EP。好好把握吧！

Singapore Presidential Election 2011 正式开跑前的氛围 Part 9 - 参选人的胜选得票率与PAP政府过后的可能动作

在此先恭贺4位有意参选总统的人获得了合格证书 - TJS, TKL, TCB 和 TTKY。真正参选人数则有待提名日 (2011.08.17 Wed) 揭晓。

如无意外的话，胜选的人在投票日 (2011.08.27 Sat) 的得票率想必无法超越 OTC 王鼎昌 58.7% 的有效票，更有可能低过 50.0%。所有参选人无一是泛泛之辈，因其资格经过严格筛选，这第2把钥匙定比政党政治选出来的总理及内阁这第1把钥匙更具个人号召力。竞选的2个结果可能性(假设竞选期间没有弃保效应)如下：
1。4角战：每个参选人都会最低限度取得15.0%的得票率。剩率30.0%有待争取。胜选率极可能在35.0%和39.0%之间。
2。3角战：每个参选人都会最低限度取得25.0%的得票率。剩率25.0%有待争取。胜选率极可能在39.0%和45.0%之间。
此篇章不强调谁会胜选，身为或将成为第1世界选民的你完全有选择权利，最多在投票当儿问自己2个问题：在新加坡目前内外情势之下，即使是总理及内阁完全执政完全负责，现阶段需要的是哪一个总统参选人能符合个人，社区和国家利益？和有些需要关心却不清不楚的国家储备虚实的信息是否有必要明确知道 (至少总统一定要明瞭)？没有机会在 GE20011 投票的 Tanjong Pagar GRC 丹戎巴葛集选区选民这次有机会投票了！！！

不管谁当选，PAP政府在这政经氛围之下和越来越多选民在未来贯彻制衡的原则，也势必在新国会会期做出3个下列途径之一的决策：
1。取消民选总统制，恢复以前国会选定的礼仪性总统制,各民族达人轮流坐庄。
2。坚持民选总统制，不过权限,选举，咨询团及责任条款等等将会里里外外大大不同，
3。取消民选总统制，改宪制让内阁总理 Head of Government 同时也是 Head of State。
维持这现有民选总统制肯定对PAP政府有其弊无其利。PAP的政治哲学也无法容忍EP (尤其是非PAP属意的) 的号召力强过一个40多年执政的政党。

谁应主导和深植新加坡在国际社会的定位和方向

现时新加坡这岛国在国际社会的影响力 (好且深) 远超乎其地理范围 (国家面积与人口)，当然要归功于40多年来历届各个政要不断地长袖善舞，合纵连横，虽然间中有些凸槌。难免不了提到 LKY “老骥伏枥，志在千里” 的毅力。过后 GCT 在国际间的声望也还可以。后LKY或后GCT的新加坡的政要特别是现政府首脑 LHL 及团队是适时候为新加坡利益完全负责了。

阅读了今天 MSM 报导了潜在总统参选人 TTKY 个人对国际社会的视野和看法，相当的深刻与全面，不禁纳罕的是从 LHL 个人从 2004 年主政以来阐述 PAP 政府向人民表达对国际社会事务相关的策略与方针，在数量与质量上都有所欠缺，可能一直都是活在 LKY 强势的影响力之下。这所谓的第3代政要与团队 (以身作则嘛)如果还在这方面继续低迷的话，别怪接下来的第4代团队接棒无法保持新加坡在国际间的地位和影响力，所以时间已不多了。不但是 PAP 的问题，这是新加坡在国际舞台话语权式微的隐忧。

带领新加坡走向更加不确定性的未来是经过国会选定的总理 Head of Government 及团队，而不是由一人一票选出的民选总统 Head of State. 这是立志为“第一世界选民”的新加坡人民一定要有深刻的认识，实质代表 (而非礼仪性的) 新加坡向全球争取利益的是总理 Prime Minister。至于总统 Elected President 其实作用被夸大了，有没相关经验并非必要，况且也没其权限。TTKY 的发言 (协助政府) 在一定程度上否定 / 质疑了现 PAP 政府的能力和效率。LHL 得责无旁贷的表态了。

新加坡国会会期的总统致词 (President's Address) 政府的施政方针是否恰当

过去国会的会期都由总统 (以前是国会委任的或是现阶段民选的) 开幕，相信日后也是如此。

不过当民选总统制实施之后，仍然由民选总统致词，而致词的内容却是政府在国会新任期的施政方针就有那么一点怪了，道理上来说，既然是政府的施政方针，最佳人选应该是国会选定的总理。虽然说这所谓的执政党总理不是由选民一人一票选出来的，毕竟总统不是总理，总理是由政党政治产生出来的职位，照理由总理阐述政府的施政方针，以达到完全执政完全负责的真实境界，不应该由总统越俎代苞，混淆了总理是政府首脑 Head of Government 的事实。

在此希望以后(未必是10月10日的开幕)由总理做该做的致词政府施政方针，总统(国家元首 Head of State)在一旁听听可也，要发言的话也只是花少过一分钟的开幕词。

PTC (Public Transport Council) 和新加坡公共交通的系统，效率，盈利，模式的该有做法

新加坡公共交通的系统，效率，盈利和模式在 GE2011 前到今天各方高手，专家，政党或民众都谈了不少，照理应该是七七八八了，各角度都应该包括了，在此就不重复。重复不是我的作风，除非本人认为加料能提升水平。所以争论的盲点在那？

PTC 在 GE2011 选民普遍对公共交通和业者的不满之后，应该立即重新审视至少三年前到大选前的乘客满意度调查是否有所疏漏，或甚至调查本身是否已有所偏袒，要不然满意度高，怎会与大选的投票讯息有此落差。这落差之大也多多少少直接质疑 PTC 的专业监控能力。

PTC 在9月批准业者的车资收费之前，应该要求从今以后也需呈报“特别帐目表”-把核心(跟公交直接有关的)和非核心 (例如广告和租金收入)分开来.建议车资增加与否的考虑完全与核心业务及管理挂钩，以禁止业者谋取高盈利，达到比收支平衡多那么一点的微薄盈利以维持运作。非核心业务的收支情况及管理则与车资脱钩，盈利多于否是“业者该获得的就让他们获得”。理由是其实新加坡的两个公交提供者事实来说并非处于竞争的环境，而且车资的每一次提高都会对低收入者的生活成本 (Cost of Living) 产生“巨大冲击”。

如上的动作没做的话，各方高人就别花精神在模式，盈利，服务水平打转。First things first, OK!?!

Singapore Presidential Election 2011 正式开跑前的氛围 Part 8 - 一场就连本地主流煤体 Local MSM (Main Stream Media) “也”输不起的选举

假如这一届 EP 选举有多过一个人获得资格并参选的话，不只是 PAP 政府输不起 (想当然尔)，本地 MSM也输不起。跟本地 MSM 有关联的 TTKY “恰好” 是 PAP 暗地里 (哈哈哈,其实很明显) 派出的。虽然说 TTKY 的赢面想当大，不管是2角，3角或多角战，输的可能性很低，MSM必定卯足全力在竞选期间排山倒海似的宣传，这可从最近时不时报导 TTKY 的动态，想想现在距离选举还有一段时间都已这么做了。

不过有竞争就会有赢家输家，不到最后一分钟鹿死谁手尚未可知，竞选前处于劣势的也未尝不可能取得胜利。

而一旦 TTKY 之外的人当选，这不止是PAP政府的失败(另一个选民/人民不满的讯息)，也是 MSM 的失败 (当事人嘛)。如果说 GE 2011 是 MSM 还可算是蛮客观蛮全面的报导，这次的 EP 选举可充分考验 MSM 对选民的影响力，TTKY 如果失败，就是 MSM 影响力开始式微的有力证明，这比任何数据或抽样调查来的直接且冲击力更大，也包括了选民对MSM长期“关爱”PAP政府的不爽。

A 60% Share of Valid Votes - Good Results for PAP in GE2011 ?!?

就正如 LBH 所认为的，的确60.1%的有效得票率还是蛮高的，假如这得票率不会下降的话，PAP政府大可继续推行不讨好选民但对国家有利的政策，因为本人强烈怀疑这60.1%包括了一些含泪投票的选民，明知道今日的PAP已经是变质了的PAP。下一次PAP也会有这样的好运吗！西部走廊的支持票较多？难道不是WP以外的在野党在此竞选的缘故？

在国会议席仍占据93%的PAP, 如果坚信带领新加坡的方向是对的，大可不必向选民妥协而施行所谓的民粹政策 Populist Policies, 反正一两个大选周期也不会使PAP变成在野党。又或者如果坚持信念为国为民又利国利民，议席数目到最后不能一党执政的话，以后新加坡的政治历史将会如实的报道PAP的对，其他政党加上选民的错。所以祈求PAP做出正确且高瞻远瞩的判断！

不管如何，在此希翼从今以后，政党(执政和非执政)在关注政党利益的同时也能兼顾国家利益，本人很务实的认为没有任何一个政党不会照顾自己的利益，即使在国家何去何从的关键时刻。选民也尽早成为“第一世界选民”，能为每一次的大选做出对国家对个人的投票行为。历史的长河将会证明哪一方对哪一方面错，而谁会成为这岛国的良柱谁会成为城市国家的罪人。

这民选总统选举产生出来的总统，且不论选民有没有机会投票(坦白说投票重要吗)，也且不管这总统有没询问国家储备和公积金的虚实(反正PAP政府也是国会绝大议席的政党就是摆明不给明确答案的，用膝盖想都知道)的情况之下，这制度是一个明确摆美而无实效的制度。

假设取消这制度，恢复以前国会委任的礼仪形式的总统，一来不必耗时耗力耗钱搞选举，而且可从各民族的高尚人士中轮流选出，能同时向国际社会展示新加坡的多元文化的色彩，又能团结人民/选民，从而避免已政治化的总统体制。说白一点，其实民选总统制从一开始的设立就是一个政治化的职位，纵然总统候选人必须退出政党政治，除非候选人从来不属于任何政党的独立人士，这可能吗？是故一定政治化。

新加坡是一个岛国/小国，说真的如果PAP政府更有魄力及担当能力的话，干脆取消总统这职位，而把总统的礼仪角色加码在总理 Prime Minister 身上。这样纳税人就不用多花一些钱，总理对国际社会可以贯彻新加坡的外交和友好(除非总理连这角色都无法胜任)，对内对选民可以完全负责(除非总理仍然有政党利益高于其他利益的狭隘思维及行为)带领新加坡走向更美好的未来。Head of Government 政府首脑 is also Head of State 国家元首 - 如果 LHL 真心要改革的话这是可以考虑的，, 哈哈哈，这是本人的奇思异想。哎呀呀，对个人/团队来说，有时跳脱固定思维是有其必要的，总理也应该是人民/全民的总理，责无旁贷，不可只顾着政党政治，毕竟总理职权和连带的责任重要过总统，特别是在一旦落后就玩完的新加坡。

在反PAP政府政要政策政风尚未停息下的2011年民选总统选举是很微妙的。假设以下3个情境的出现：
1。只有一个取得资格和参选，因而自动当选，TTKY 想当然尔是我们的总统，绝对会对国家储备不闻不问。
2。绝大部分取得资格和参选，其中一个赢得选举，且不论是有没跟PAP关联的，并不想得罪PAP政府，所以也对国家储备不闻不问。
3。绝大部分取得资格和参选，其中一个赢得选举，且不论是有没跟PAP关联的，对国家储备殷切的过问，而和LHL或其他PAP政要在任期内屡次交锋，可想而知无法得到任何答案。

在此大胆预测，这一次民选总统选举或许是最后一次了，PAP政府极有可能在国会取消掉民选总统制，充其量恢复以前国会委派的礼仪形式的总统，或干脆完全没有总统的存在，更是省时省力省钱的做法。时不我予了，总统是PAP政府的鸡肋(食之无味，弃之可惜)。这是PAP一个执政40多年自己搞出来的烫手山芋，怨不得人，新加坡人是看着PAP的笑话，而最丢人的这也是国际友人之间茶余饭后揶揄新加坡和新加坡人的笑话。

何苦呢？请别再丢新加坡的脸了。哈哈哈。。民选总统？！？啥米碗糕？

一天前知道陈如斯 Tan Jee Say (TJS) (代表 SDP 参选 GE 2011) 加入了战局。网上和主流媒体充斥了民选总统到底该不该“政治化”或“代表的是人民的心声”或“对抗政府”。凭心而论，这都是典型的选举语言。今时今日的选民不容易受蒙骗、。

新加坡从建国以来的非民选直到民选当选的总统，在 PAP 政府的强势主导之下，其实越来越 “政治化”。行将卸任的 President Nathan 纳丹总统的无对手的两届，到现在我还记得(从报章得知)的就是他(PAP政府属意)当选就职的第一天表示“不会找政府的麻烦”，这难道不是“政治化”。本人认为，如有必要(要经过总统本人的不偏私的智力，价值的判断和政治手腕)的话, 是为了保护人民的权益找一找政府的麻烦 - 这是总统份内该做的事，而不是不找政府麻烦的就是好总统或非政治化的正常总统。

现时这氛围人民要的最关心的是啥？毋庸置疑就是钱财尤其是国家储备和公积金的数目和保障。也许关于机密缘由，一般人民不需知道，但是身为总统一定要知道，要不然怎么能批准政府动用过去的储备金。President Nathan 是历史上第一位在未知国家储备金虚实而批准政府动用 (事实是备用后来没动用到) 过去的储备金的民选总统。这是一个非常不好的先例。

KTM Railway Track & Tanjong Pagar Railway Station - 铁道路段

前两三天才知道整个KTM Railway 的铁道路段会被拆除。

即使 Tanjong Pagar Railway Station 受到保留，而相近的月台部分的铁道路段不存在，就连一截火车头都没剩下，其实已经失去了至少一半的保留意义 - 留其形式而失了其神。

既然无法挽回，干脆一点吧，Railway Station 的保留决定大可重新评估，或者拆掉算了，以免妨碍周围的未来发展。

随着PAP前或现政要(贾古玛，尚穆根，吴作栋，张志贤，李显龙)纷纷表态，即使现时距离提名日尚早，TTKY 陈庆炎是PAP属意的总统候选人已经是呼之欲出。

其他候选人可不能等到提名日才积极活动，现在就得在适合的场合频频出现，适度发表和推销自己，否则悔之晚矣。尤其是主流媒体必会在竞选期间大肆报道TTKY的动态。

我会在适当时机跟进最新事态的发展。

前政要贾古玛对媒体表示有些候选人误解了民选总统的职责(如有监察权没治理权，反应性角色而非主动性角色), 以为权限蛮大。这是第1次跟政府有关人士的言论，相信陆续会有政府有关人士发表谈话，更有可能是“现政府要人”。现实是有关PAP政府不宜多谈，政治氛围不适合“亲PAP”，以免惹起广大民众的反感。

能有把握的说其实PAP政府并不希望有“挑战现制度现政策现政府”的候选人，更不希望如此人物当选总统以过问敏感的范围如国家储备金(National Reserves)的现况和治理信息的透明度等等。现阶段的民选总统制可说是PAP政府拿起石头砸自己的脚。

不过要选出什么样的总统是选民的权利，因为选择在民。

有意要成为总统候选人的都是现在或是从前跟PAP有关系的，这并不出奇，只要看一下能成为候选人的资格就知道了：

1。陈清木 Tan Cheng Bok (TCB)- 想想这前国会议员跟PAP政府要些一般新加坡选民关心的国家储备金数据的可能性。
2。陈钦亮 Tan Kin Lian (TKL) - 跟现PAP政府和政策最毫无瓜葛的。
3。杨荣文 George Yeo Yong Boon (GY) - 能受得了第二次的失败吗？
4。陈庆炎 Tong Tan Kim Yam (TTKY) - 这GIC副主席至少可掩护属于国家储备一部分的GIC。当事人嘛，会审查自己的帐才怪。

现时的情况之下，新加坡选民首要的是要当选总统代表选民跟PAP政府厘清国家储备和CPF Fund的情况，除此之外的其他职责都是次要的。

新加坡大选2011(Singapore General Election)刚过了不久，民选总统选举(Singapore Presidential Election)又将举行了，不过相信这次的竞选氛围(其实也是政治氛围)很不一样，因为选民的结构及思维和前几次的不同：

1。无法再接受没竞争就当选的事。
2。PAP 所谓钦定候选人(职总NTUC也属意且支持)的方式不讨好，尤其是在大选60.1%低得票率的情况之下。
3。越来越倾向于相信制衡机制以防止一党独大带来的弊端。

但讽刺的是PAP创造出来的民选总统方案极度限制了新加坡人成为候选人的可能，能够成为候选人的又可能是跟PAP多少有点关系的。PAP的尴尬处境可想而知。

雨季来临 - 岛内又掩水了 The Great Flood

昨天上午(2011.06.05)全岛又“历史性”的下起豪雨，其雨量比起去年同月的历史性豪雨有过之而无不及 - 造成乌节购物地带又一次的水患，且还包括了东陵坊(Tanglin Mall)的新地点。

现环境部长维文(VB)有的忙了，从以前的社区发展部长“降职”到此部门，很“不幸”的又面对此尴尬处境，又得向 The Orchard Business Association 解释这所谓的“天有不测之风云”。

是时候 PUB 全面重新评估新加坡的沟渠系统，特别是容易淹水的地方，免不了的重新拟定准则，加强警报效率和加大加宽现有系统.

写在2011新加坡新内阁政治职务薪金评估出炉之前

上星期六(2011.05,21)李显龙总理新内阁就职演说其中的内容是委任独立委员会评估政治职务的薪金，旧的薪金(年薪)大致如此：总统420万，总理304万，部长157万。

在考虑了政治问责，国家重担与职务职能的范围，个人认为从政者不能当作慈善事业，又要维持道德高度，‘新的薪金’应在下列的范围：
总统 President (月薪10万，年薪最高120万)
总理 PM (月薪15万，年薪最高180万)
副总理 DPM (月薪11-13万，年薪最高156万)
部长 Minister (月薪8-10万，年薪最高120万)
政务部长 Minister of State (月薪6-7万，年薪最高84万)
政务次长 Parliamentary Secretary (月薪4-5万，年薪最高60万)
国会议员 Member of Parliament Full-Time (月薪0.9-1.1万，年薪最高13.2万)
国会议员 Member of Parliament Part-Time (月薪0.5-0.7万，年薪最高8.4万)

就算是依照上列的薪金，新加坡的政治薪金仍然是世界第一，仍旧会引起争议，在野阵营还是可以大做文章。在此建议花红 Bonus (0-3个月)需要总理提议和经过国会批准，皆为新币。退休补偿/养老金 Retirement Compensation / Pensions 则免了。

1。选举结果请愿
Lina Chiam 代替 CST 在选区上阵，结果以百多票之差落败。其支持者竟然发动请愿行动，不服选举结果，惊动了警方，在此不是要讨论支持者的请愿恰当与否，本人较惊讶的是 Lina Chiam 为当事人竟然完全不闻不问，真的是对她非常失望，证明她缺乏担当的胸襟，所以她的落选是有其缘由的。尤其是早在 2008 年的时候就被 CST 钦定为接班人，结果在 GE20011之前的电视政策辩论的辩才或阐明立场竟然怯战和信心不足，无法让 Potong Pasir 选民再投SPP的票。

2。下场
可想而知的 Potong Pasir SMC 在下一次的大选前成立的选区划分委员会的划分下将不存在，甚至也不当成一个 Division 的存在，而比较可能的是先划分成2到3个块区然后并入邻近的 GRC，可考虑的 GRC 是 Moulmein-Kallang， Aljunied 或 Bishan-Toa Payoh。但其实失去的将是所谓的 Potong Pasir Spirit 波东巴西精神。

人生有所得有所失，在所难免，Potong Pasir 的选民得“适应” 新的身份了，别太怀旧了。

又或者在野阵营在还没取得1/3国会议席之前，可以先战术性的把所谓的PAP的第4代领导淘汰掉，我们尊贵的李总理就得做到七老八十喽。

普遍上，不管是周遭或是网上都对PAP越来越“没有感觉”。无论是主流媒体的如何偏颇PAP，大选的氛围不比上几届来的甜美（PAP的角度）而对在野党阵营有利：

1。有相当一大部分选民已对PAP团队，特别是内阁的成员已非常失望，原因是他们的问责态度有很大的缺憾，而且对民情越来越不敏感。对这类群众来说，低劣的政治嘴脸和选举文化很要不得，不应该再容忍，而尽可能拉低PAP的取胜幅度。
2。在野党阵营到现在为止见招拆招，应对恰当，而且信任选民们的智慧和政治成熟。选民得到应有的尊重和公平对待，反之PAP还要“教导”选民们这个那个的。
3。对于PAP根本无心致力于加强社会凝聚力，反而时不时制造社会分化的言论与作风来持续PAP1党独大，大多数新加坡人（特别是选民）已心理有数，这可以从LKY的“硬道理 Hard Truths”书的滞销直接反映出来。

所以，选民们的票应该怎么投呢？

3。 PAP总得票率在60，0和62.0之间。在野党阵营取得1到6议席。最多1集选区。

选民们，投票是秘密的。为了新加坡的短，中，长程愿景和心目中的国会氛围，投出神圣的一票吧。

纵然在野党阵营如何分配战区，超过两角战（即PAP vs 一个在野党）的多角战战区还是不会少过3个，即使过后“互相博弈之下。原应如下：

1。在提名日当天会有不知哪里跳出来的独立人士/无党籍候选人。如切战i区在今时今日已至少肯定是至少是3角战。
2。单做GE2016的前哨战。 GE2016应该是无LKY在的第1个全国大选。
3。对在野党阵营有利的竞选氛围i，导致要参选的非PAP候选人创历史新高。
4。 NCMP的议席从3席增加到9席。
5。相对实力较强大的在野党侵入另一个在野党的地盘。
6。没有大格局思维的非PAP候选人的参选。

而且提名日当天我个人预测还会有4角战区，更荒蹘的是5角战区的可能出现。

前天(2011.04.05) 国大论坛的召开，李显龙总理（LHL）明的暗的说了一些政治领导的事情，也回答了范围以外的问题，本人的解读和意见如下：

1。两党制在新加坡行不通：新加坡到底是不是宪政民主国家？！？
2。所谓的第4代领导和以后大谈特谈：问题是现时的第3代领导的施政方针和问责已经很有问题，还谈什么第4代的领导（15年后）？简直是模糊焦点。
3。很难找到人才（特别是非公务员或工会）：其实其中的原因是人才并不认同PAP的政治作风，施政的方向，和时不时发表没有尊重新加坡人的言语。而且LHL面对的是所谓的第5代（30年后）的大学生，在未来的三四十年如果不是政治领导至少也是选民，暴露PAP自己的人才难求，间接鼓励他们投票给AP阵营。

LHL，时不我予啊？PAP在GE2011有难喽。

其实执政党(PAP)和在野党阵营(AP Camp)在投名日之前已经在竞选议题方面互相叫阵已便取得主动权，主要竞选议题如下：1）执政党加上（主流媒体的积极宣传）：新加坡的未来与第4代领导层；2）在野党阵营（几个相类似但其实有所不同）：1）在野党的领导更新：2）生活费高涨与组屋售价的合理性；3）国会要有不同的但向新加坡的声音。

在这里姑且不论谁优谁劣，不管如何，政党的议题都要: 1) 微观和宏观的经济和社会角度； 2）合理的政策的延续性，以前政策可行但现今出现弊端的要纠正或被取代； 3）稳定和带有韧性的个人，社区和国家关怀；4）内外求取平衡的各个政策；5）政治的平等竞争和领导。

今天(2011.04.5)将要召开的国大论坛“Kent Ridge Ministerial Forum Series - 2011" 的 ”Leadership Renewal - The 4th Generation and Beyond" 就且由 PM Lee （LHL）讲述他的一面之词吧。我倒是比较有兴趣的是Q &A的时候提问者超乎讨论课题范围的提问，越多这类似的提问越能显示讨论的课题其实不是至关重要的。

相隔Part 7又好一阵子了，在野党阵营个别政党又有新的状况：有些党员脱离原先的党（出走）加入别的党成为候选人；有新的在野党没能组队竞选集选区，即使跨党会议的“插旗”也成了夏天的闷雷；有的政党候选人增加了，原先没能“插旗”反过来竞选原没计划的战区。总而言之，距离明朗化的程度还早得很。执政的PAP却已公布了两三批的新人。

明的说，有两三个在野党(各处于组织生命周期的不同阶段)则通过有偏向执政党的主流媒体叫嚣，有如棋局的对手般互相斗法 - 极其努力的争取最佳战斗位置和道德的制高点；假让但其实步步为营；时不时对准对手的软肋攻击；制止对手相对来说的一贯棋路。坦白的说，真的大开眼界。直到如今，棋局还在进行当中。

而有在野党却不通过主流媒体来谈判战区的分配问题。所以可说是各师各法。角逐27战区87议席的有(有的政党可能到提名日却没竞选是极为可能的)：PAP，NSP， WP， RP， SDA， SDP， SF， DPP 等等。

报章包括网上的讯息夸大了以前跨党会议的圆满和成功，极为负面的评论这次大选跨党的会议的“失败”和“不圆满”。姑且不论对与否，有所谓的会议总是好的，好过瞎子摸象，到了提名日才知道3角战或甚至5角战，本人赋予它正面的意义。团结的口号(到今天还有网友呼吁）听多了也麻木了，但合作还是有希望的。

因此2011过后的大选也还是要召开选前跨党会议的，毕竟现实是在野党阵营人力物力时间有限，即使是最大的在野党也会吃不消 - PAP：APs 为 99：1。

在此建议个别在野党在每次大选过后除了开检讨会议之外，也该考虑一下召开跨党检讨会议，当然如果有在野党认为无此必要可选择不参加。召开的理由很简单 - 向选民道谢感谢支持和做为了4或5年后的下一次大选铺路。

离在野党阵营跨党第二次会议已经是第13天(今天2010.03.18), 除了一小撮选区一些政党不得不礼让（好听是礼让，其实是候选人不够），27区87议席还是会有可能3角战。日正当中的WP和近来崛起的NSP的芥蒂似未解决。

媒体报道PAP把群众大会看台的设计为最高机密，本人强烈怀疑其设定包括了互动荧幕，而这互动荧幕还能在群众大会举行时联上互联网和手机，以便其候选人人能第1时间驳斥对手的谈话，当然也就是说PAP也会安插一些人在对手的群众大会做同步录影。

至于何时是提名日何时为投票日则不想猜测，反正就是对执政党(PAP)有力就对了。

过了差不多6天后的今天(2011.03.11)才写的原因有三：1) 拖延一下才写会更好，事实证明果然没错；2）得先过滤一些不翔实的讯息；3）厘清一些主流媒体的非中立的偏向报道。

上个星期六（2011.03.05)的会议结果离我的估计不远，但更加的不圆满。以后的大选(2011以后）的大概也就是这样子。时代的巨轮前进的好快，天地人的条件也不一样了。

我预测2011大选的27区（15集选区，12单选区）中将会有至少3区爆发3角战。在此暂且不论是集选区或单选区，留待下回继续。

跨党会议应该是今天(2011.03.05)下午吧。

如果会议没有圆满的话，那就顺其自然吧，反正人多意见多，党多竞争也多了，那就三角或四角战吧，才不是所谓的不圆满就是不团结。仔细想一下（包括国内外环境和最近二三年的大小民生问题）在野党阵营也就该释然了。

除了这是民主的程序，也要有随时有其他（完全没参加会议）的人或党在提名日插上一脚。政治的其中一个精髓是要有发生状况的心理准备。

今晚(Wed, 2 Mar, 2011)在PKMS(马来民族机构)的总部，在野党阵营循旧例的集合在一起协商，“讨价还价“的确定各自角逐的选区-15个集选区和12个单选区。

实话实说，这次会议跟上两次(2001, 2006)的会议可能没那么顺利，原因有三：1) 多了两三个新政党；2) 有意愿参选的候选人有至少60位 - 国民团结党[NSP National Solidarity Party])秘书长吴明盛 Goh Meng Seng 在上星期日(2011.02.27) Talking Point 节目 (亚洲新闻频道 Channel News Asia) 的估计，这会比上次大选2006的47区来的多很多；3) 有一两政党的主要负责人声言不会出席。

在结果未出来之前，我本身也拟好了一个名单。过些时候就把两个名单放在一起，看看有多少的出入，用意纯为好玩而已，没别的意思。当然执政党PAP将会角逐所有选区。

上个星期四(2011.02.24)出炉的大选选区划分，84个议席增加到87，大概无人觉得意外，反而觉得理所当然，主因是选民增加(尤其是榜鹅，盛港及三巴旺)的关系。

大致上在野党阵营又再一次的说划分对执政党(PAP [Peoples' Action Party])较有利 - 徇私 (Gerrymandering). 在一定程度上的确，因为大选选举委员会 (EBRC[Electoral Boundaries Review Committee]) 完全没有字面上或口头上的说明，反而是一两位内阁部长级的出面说一些话，坦白的说一定程度上代替了EBRC的应有职责，有点欲盖弥彰，对号入座。拜托让这些公务员行使他们的职责好吗？新加坡的公共问责风气也该改一改了，不要凡是都是部长们动口。

这次的12个单选区(SMC [Single-Member Constituency])里的几个新单选区划分出来倒是有点匪夷所思，容后再谈。

The authority acted so abruptly because General Election is around the corner or else it will take longer time to issue the guideline. Somehow the 2 IRs have to behave that they are good corporate citizens of Singapore. More importantly, my guess is earliest date the Parliament will be dissolved in next sitting (15 Sep 2010 Wed), i.e. today 1.30pm. PM will set the tone for the election. I came across TOC (The Online Citizen) the web site after the press release of Bloggers 13 comments on liberalization of citizen journalism in Singapore.

Well, some netizens commented this web site anti-establishment. Their comments probably too extreme, but nevertheless the articles posted in TOC mostly never pro-establishment.

As I like to see things from many angles and perspectives, it would be beneficial to look at things from both TOC articles and pro-establishment local print media,.and to add the third party source, such as online forums, blogs and news outside Singapore. As I see it there are no such things as absolutely right or wrong. It is matter of our own interpretation and judgement.

After Robert Kubica and Nico Rosberg endured penalties at the Grand Prix of Singapore there have been further calls for a change to the current Safety Car Rule that closes the pits and penalizes anyone for taking on fuel during the SC period until the pit lane is officially opened.This was to prevent cars racing back to the pits and potential being dangerous. This has also left many outraged at the penalties incurred by drivers who have no choice but to pit for fuel as they are running on fumes. It seems a solution is in the works however.

market2garden: Fine-tuning of safety car rules needed. But don’t have to overreact that the rule gave Alonso the advantage to be the winner. After all, winning a race must factor in all possibilities, plus a bit of luck.

Also lashing out at the lack of overtaking opportunities at new street circuits, and the farcical safety car rules, Montezemolo said last week that "all this is humiliating for F1".

But Ecclestone, F1's chief executive, hinted to Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper that the attack by Montezemolo was perhaps to divert attention from Ferrari's woeful showing under the city-state's floodlights.

"If the Ferrari president is right about the Singapore grand prix being a circus," he said, "then we have to be grateful to him for providing the clowns."

The 77-year-old is undoubtedly referring to title rival Felipe Massa's botched pitstop, when the Brazilian ripped the fuel hose from the rig and pulled it the entire length of the pitlane.

Let’s hope the efforts are well paid.

Not only the posting is entertaining (of course the person involved sure think otherwise), more importantly the same words same sentences could be interpreted differently (or two extreme opposite poles) if we read further the comments posted by other bloggers.

Hi bloggers, if all these are not life and death issues, why not just spent 1 or 2 days of quality time (non-blogging) and back to reread what you have posted. You’ll laugh at yourself for being so serious.

Obviously if we still have the “feel” after quality time, perhaps then do spend 1 or 2 days of quality time to blog (before that, take one to three deep breaths) as objective as we can.

Oh yes, non-action is one type of action.

一个民族成为两岸新底线 - 台湾不讲“主权独立国家” 大陆避谈“一个中国原则”

就在中共总书记胡锦涛对到访的国民党主席吴伯雄表示，“在‘九二共识’基础上尽快恢复海协和海基会的交往协商”隔日，台湾的海基会新任董事长江丙坤就宣布接受海协会当天上午发出的邀请，在6月11日至14日率团访问北京，就两岸周末包机、大陆居民赴台旅游事宜进行商谈。

停顿了近10年的海协、海基两会接触，就那么在“一夜之间”恢复了。胡锦涛的谈话透露了其中玄机。据前晚的《新闻联播》报道，胡锦涛在重申他的16字箴言（建立互信、搁置争议、求同存异、共创双赢）时强调：“首先要建立互信，这对推动两岸关系和平发展至关重要。”他在解释“建立互信”的意涵时说：“反对‘台独’、坚持‘九二共识’，是双方建立互信的根本基础。”很明显地，胡锦涛阐述的大陆政治底线是“不谈台湾独立，一切都好谈”。

吴伯雄在建立互信方面也积极配合，在会谈时对胡锦涛就“台湾意识”和“台独意识”做了仔细的切割。国民党新闻稿引述他说：“我要郑重地指出，台湾人民要安全、要尊严、要有合理的国际活动空间，这是台湾朝野上下一致的共识，也是我们要维护和争取的。但我们也非常地清楚，台湾意识不能扭曲成台独意识，那就不利于两岸关系，伤害到两岸人民的共同利益，这是本党不能认同和接受的。”

胡锦涛不仅正面回应台湾对于国际空间的要求，表示了解台湾同胞的感受，相信能找到解决办法，还再一次对台独势力喊话说：“对一些台湾同胞在两岸关系问题上存在误解和疑虑，我们不仅会基于同胞情怀予以理解，而且会采取积极措施予以化解。”

“胡吴会”揭示了两岸交流新篇章，其中最关键的是双方都积极贯彻“搁置争议”的精神，台湾不讲“主权独立的国家”，大陆避谈“一个中国原则”。吴伯雄在记者会上回答问题时更直接挑明了这个默契说，大陆不讲中华人民共和国，台湾就不讲中华民国。台湾媒体注意到，胡锦涛在致词时通篇不用“两岸中国人”这个会刺激台独势力的字眼，更别说“一个中国”了。在《新闻联播》关于胡锦涛谈话的报道中，“中华民族”出现了5次、“大陆同胞”3次、“台湾同胞”14次。

吴伯雄的发言稿里也出现了4次“中华民族”，提到了“骨肉相连”、“血肉相近”的感情、“两岸共同血缘和文化关系”。虽然他没有用“同胞”，马英九的就职演说已经称呼“大陆同胞”而非“大陆人民”了。更有积极意义的地方在于，“搁置争议”并非和稀泥，而是给双方交流予一个合理的缓冲带。胡锦涛的谈话非常清楚：“两岸关系发展中还存在一些历史遗留问题，也还可能遇到一些新情况新问题，其中一些症结问题一时不易解决。我们应该以实事求是的态度，务实面对，妥善处理。”

从双方反复使用“同胞”、强调“血缘感、骨肉情、兄弟情”，显示“中华民族”已经成为两岸默契中最大的公约数、新共识和新底线。在这种善意的认知底下，两岸的现状是暂时分家，却还同在一个民族的屋檐下。吴伯雄巧妙地指出，他原来还计划组织台商啦啦队来为参加北京奥运的中华台北队加油，然而政协主席贾庆林却告诉他说，北京同胞会主动为台湾健儿加油，让他们享有“主场优势”。

“中华民族”的新共识在短期内化解两岸关于政治身份认同的争议，胡锦涛强调会“关心、尊重、信赖台湾同胞”，降低两岸敌意，长期而言也可以把“中国”的政治意涵回归传统的文化意涵，不但在大陆民众的认知上以及在国际社会上为“中华民国”腾出未来的空间，也釜底抽薪地杜绝台独意识继续滋长的可能性。

Bloggers 360 is Wow.Space Blogroll. But you are unable to find it. Essentially Bloggers 360 consists of 3 rolls: "Bloggers First 120", "Bloggers Middle 120" and "Bloggers Final 120". No doubt these 3 rolls are my favorites. Individually they are different.

By showing certain quality of their "niche areas", inevitably the bloggers show their personalities and characters too. So, how well you can be yourself and be the sucessful blogger at the same time?

All this focus on RSS and reading blog entries in newsreaders makes it sound as if Web sites are becoming irrelevant. What is the fate of a lovingly designed blog with a beautiful, colorful atmosphere and careful navigational design? ……. If everyone is going to end up reading you blog off-site, in a cold, black-and white newsreader, what’s the point of creating good pages?

Frankly, this gloomy perspective has some truth. But not total truth. ……. It’s important to me to avoid visiting sites as much as possible. But newsreaders do let you click through to the page on which any entry resides, and there are good reasons to do so. First, you cannot write a comment on somebody’s blog in a newsreader, you must go to the blog. Second, you cannot see all the typical blog elements that surround each entry, such as the blogroll, the archive directory, and entry categories. Third, some bloggers and other information providers put partial entries in the feed, so you must click through to the entry page to read the full entry.

It is too soon to predict that RSS will completely obliterate Web sites or just blog sites. It is possible, and if that day comes, perhaps RSS will be far more dressed up than it is today, with graphics and other elements that currently are not syndicated with the feeds. Communication elements, such as comments, would certainly have to be included. ….. The days of templates and colorful navigation sidebars might be numbered, but we are far from that reality now.

market2garden: I already use feed aggregators (My Yahoo & Bloglines), easier and faster reading. Centralise my online reading indeed saves me a lot of time. For those web sites, such as online forums and other similar set up, direct visit will be less frequent. So are these web site going to be obsolete?

Last year’s LTA trial of video camera fixed on buses to capture those who stray into bus lanes will go full steam ahead from June 2. .... The video will go to the LTA and the errant motorist can expect a summons within two weeks. .....
